Thank you for choosing the e-Step Personal Lift Platform by Garott Industries. Designed for safety and ease of use, this dual-voltage (12V DC / 100~240V AC) lift platform is ideal for low-height access in level indoor or outdoor environments.

⚠️ General Safety
- Only trained and authorized individuals should operate the lift.
- Always operate the lift on stable, level ground.
- Do not exceed the rated load capacity.
- Inspect the unit for damage before each use.
- Ensure any handrails are securely installed and used for support.
- Maintain three points of contact when mounting or dismounting the platform.
- Keep clear of moving parts to avoid crush injuries.
- Do not allow unmonitored children near the unit when in operation
⚠️ Stable Ground Conditions
- Use only on solid, stable surfaces.
- For uneven or unstable surfaces, use stabilizing screws or place the lift on a flat board.
- Invert the base plate for sandy or soft surfaces. Use ground/sand anchors if required.
- Employ leveling devices or blocks to ensure a stable base.
⚠️ Fall Protection & Handrails
- Always use handrails while on the platform.
- Ensure weight is centrally located on the lift platform.
- Avoid leaning or applying side force that may cause tipping.
⚠️ Electrical Safety
- Use only grounded 240V AC outlets with Residual Current Device (RCD) protection.
- Inspect cords and connectors regularly for damage.
- Do not use if cables are bare or uninsulated.
- Keep AC components dry. Do not expose to water.
- Never immerse the unit in water.
- Ensure 12V DC power supply is fully charged.
- Use a 15-amp fused DC outlet only.
- Disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

- Care Instructions
- Inspect the unit regularly for damage.
- In marine or corrosive environments, wipe down the lift daily.
- Apply corrosion inhibitor spray to bolts and exposed metal parts.
- Clean dirt and debris from all surfaces regularly.
- Store the unit indoors when not in use.
- Check for corrosion near electrical terminals.
- Setup & Installation
- Unpack the unit and inspect for shipping damage.
- Move to the desired location using built-in handles or optional trolley.
- Ensure the ground is stable and level.
- Connect to power:
- AC Power: Plug into grounded 240V outlet with RCD protection.
- DC Power: Connect to 12V source using Anderson-style connectors.
- Internal Battery (if fitted): Ensure it is fully charged.
- Perform a function check:
- Ensure remote has working batteries.
- Raise/lower the platform without a load.
- Listen for unusual noises or motion.
- Install magnetic induction sensor to adjust lift/fall limits (if needed).
Note: Only qualified personnel should modify lift height or fall limit settings.
- Operation Instructions
- Ensure platform is within safe working height range.
- Confirm all power leads are securely connected and routed safely.
- Keep clear of the lift while it operates.
- Do not touch moving components.
- Place the platform carefully, using handrails where available
- Operate lift with the remote control.
- Maintain a centered position on the platform.
- Never exceed the maximum lift height.

- Controls:
- Up Arrow: Raise platform
- Down Arrow: Lower platform
- Center Stop: Immediate stop of all movement
- Operating Range: Up to 3 meters (line-of-sight recommended)
- Storage: Keep dry and stored in cradle
- Battery: Replace every 3-6 months or as needed
- Precautions: Keep remote away from heat water and sunlight
